Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Pass Catchers

Jalen Reagor

The Eagles injury woes from 2019 carried into 2020. They were without Alshon Jeffery and Miles Sanders in week 1. Despite that, the offense looked good in the first half, scoring 17 points. The rookie receiver finished with just one catch but it was for 55 yards. If the injuries continue for Philadelphia, Reagor should see more snaps in week 2 when they play the Los Angeles Rams.

Parris Campbell

Back to the Colts, Philip Rivers spread the ball around like he’s been known to do. Campbell led all pass catchers in fantasy points, 14.9. He finished with six receptions, 71 yards and a nine-yard carry. After T.Y. Hilton and Jack Doyle, the No. 3 option for the Colts is wide open. We saw what the Packers did to the Vikings, so the Colts can take advantage of the bad secondary. Campbell is rostered in 30 percent of leagues.

Jordan Akins

The backup tight end of the Texans finished with 11.9 fantasy points on two catches, 39 yards and a touchdown. He outsnapped Darren Fells 48 to 25. There is no clear cut top option for the Texans. Will Fuller led with eight receptions and 112 yards. No other player had more than three and 40.

The tight end pool has gotten deeper over the years and Akins could add to it. Watson can throw and in a pass-first offense, he could find himself with a few catches and a touchdown any given week. He’s rostered in less than one percent of leagues.
