You just know this game is going to come down to a field goal attempt
GameDay is coming to the Hurricanes’ city is because it will be the ABC primetime game that Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be calling.
Wake Forest and Louisville hosted GameDay the previous two weeks.
Florida State was idle in Week 2 but still managed to make headlines with head coach Mike Norvell revealaing he contracted the coronavirus. He will not be coaching the Seminoles against the Canes as Chris Thomsen will assume the in-person head coach duties.
It’s a veratible must-win game for Florida State after dropping the season-opener to Georgia Tech in inexcusable fashion.
At the time of publishing, Miami has a 27-13 lead over Louisville in the third quarter as they look to remain undefeated on the early season.
Miami has won the last three meetings in this rivalry series after Florida State had won seven straight from 2010-2016. If Miami can push the streak to four in a row against Florida State, it’ll be their longest winning streak over their rivals since they won six straight from 2000-2004.
