Ezekiel Elliott put the Cowboys on the board against the Los Angeles Rams and he looked like an absolute monster in the process.

When Ezekiel Elliott is hungry for the Dallas Cowboys, good luck trying to bring him down. And when he’s down at the goal-line, you better bring your best lumber to try and bring him down, otherwise he’s going to make you pay for it.

The Atlanta Falcons learned this the hard way in the first half of their showdown on Sunday. With Dallas on the verge of scoring, Dak Prescott handed the ball off to Elliott, who fought his way into the end zone. In doing so, he absolutely bulldozed his way for six.

The Cowboys have struggled against the Atlanta Falcons in their Week 2 showdown

On the play, Falcons defensive back Damontae Kazee thought he’d be able to bring Elliott down and prevent the touchdown, but that didn’t happen. Instead, Elliott lowered his shoulder and sent Kazee flying back. It’s in the running for the best plays of the week, no doubt.

That’s just the kind of running back Elliott is. Just when you think you might have him stopped short, he powers his way through to make you look foolish instead. While the Elliott run was surely one to remember, the Dallas Cowboys have had a day to forget thus far against the Falcons and fans are not happy at all.

Atlanta has dominated play, with Matt Ryan throwing for three first-half touchdowns as of this writing. In order for the Cowboys to get back in this one, they’ll need to keep feeding Elliott and let him work his magic on the ground. Otherwise, Dallas very well could end up falling to 0-2 on the campaign.
