Ryan Fitzpatrick puts all his magic on the line as lead blocker (Video)

The Harvard man is willing to put his body on the line
For those actually watching the Miami Dolphins this season, the question is when, not if, we’ll see Tua Tagovailoa get his first professional reps. But until then, the Ryan Fitzpatrick show rages on!
Fitzpatrick still has plenty left to give at his tender age, and despite the inevitability of getting replaced by Miami’s first-round selection out of Alabama, he’s getting the most out of his opportunity. With the Dolphins driving for their second touchdown, Fitzpatrick made quite the impact as a lead blocker, helping Miami pick up some extra yardage in the process.
Quarterbacks usually aren’t willing to take that risk. Fitzpatrick knows this might be his last legitimate starting opportunity in the NFL, though, so why not go out as a tough guy? Fitzpatrick didn’t exactly lay out the Jags defender, but by catching Jacksonville by surprise, Myles Gaskin was able to pick up an extra three yards or so.
What’s even better? You just know Brian Flores is going to point that out in the film room. Fitzpatrick deserves every bit of momentary applause that comes his way for this surprising, albeit less-than-magical, effort on Thursday night.
