The Vikings were pushed around in their first two games and spotted the visiting Titans an early 6-0 lead. And midway through the third quarter, Minnesota owned a 24-12 lead and had kept Tennessee out of the end zone. Running back Dalvin Cook came up big with 181 yards rushing and one score and rookie wideout Justin Jefferson caught seven passes for 175 yards and a score. But Minnesota’s young defense was gashed for 444 total yards.

Turnover-prone quarterback Carson Wentz and the Eagles were hoping to take advantage of a generous Cincinnati defense. And the mistakes continued for the struggling fifth-year signal-caller as he threw two more interceptions, offsetting his 225 yards through the air and one score. He also ran nine times for 65 yards and one touchdown but also put the ball on the ground but did not lose the fumble. Philadelphia totaled eight sacks in the overtime tie.

. 0-2-1. Previous: . Cincinnati Bengals. 26. team. 56

The Bengals have been very competitive in their first two contests but still we’re looking for their first win of the season when they headed to Philadelphia to take on the struggling Eagles. And once again Zac Taylor’s team was in it to the end. But there was no decision as the teams settled for an overtime tie. Rookie quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 312 yards and two scores but was also sacked eight times. Cincinnati managed only 48 rushing yards.

0-3. Previous: . Houston Texans. 25. team. 10.

After being handled by the Chiefs and Ravens and giving up a combined 67 points in the process, Bill O’Brien’s club made its way north to the Steel City to take on the 2-0 Steelers. Quarterback Deshaun Watson was sharp and led the club to a 21-17 lead at intermission via a pair of touchdown passes. But the Houston offense was a no-show in the second half. The Texans’ defense surrendered 387 total yards (169 rushing) and Watson was sacked five times.
