5 NFL quarterbacks who can light up the scoreboard in Week 4
4. Aaron Rodgers
As it turns out, rumors of Rodgers’ potential age-related regression in 2020 have been greatly exaggerated. He looks like an All-Pro caliber quarterback again through three weeks. That’s bad news for a Falcons defense that will be trying to slow Green Bay down on Monday night.
Rodgers has piloted the Packers to a 3-0 record and is yet to throw his first interception of the season. Contrast that with his nine touchdown passes on the young season and it’s easy to understand why Green Bay’s offense is off to such a terrific start.
Atlanta will approach this game with sincere desperation due to their winless start. That’s a recipe for disaster when playing against Rodgers. He’s a quarterback who has zero qualms about throwing the ball deep down the field against overly aggressive blitzes. The Falcons need to be very careful when considering how much heat they try to bring in this game.
If Rogders gets off to a hot start in the first quarter then this game will get out of hand. The Falcons offense can score enough points to stay within a score or two, but the defense can’t hold up their end of the bargain. Rodgers is going to continue to put up big numbers on his way to piloting his team to a 4-0 record this week.
