The Buffalo Bills should be careful when they travel to Las Vegas

There are few teams in the league that have looked at dominant at times in the season’s first three weeks as the Bills. A blowout win over the Jets in Week 1 gave way to closer victories over the Dolphins and Rams, but the big positive for Bills’ fans is the emergence of Josh Allen.

Long criticized as an inaccurate passer, Allen has put the Bills on his shoulders in the early going, throwing for 1,038 yards with 10 touchdowns and one interception in Buffalo’s three wins. Allen has helped pull the Bills out of the fire when things looked dicey, which is an outstanding sign for his long-term prospects.

Buffalo hits the road this week for a trip to Sin City where they are three-point favorites against the Las Vegas Raiders. This matchup is trickier than it appears since Las Vegas’ sluggish performance in New England on Sunday came after a short week with a cross country flight in the mix.

The Bills have also made a habit of blowing big leads late in the past two weeks only to see Allen save their bacon in the final minutes. That style of play will catch up to them against a good team like the Raiders, so their chances of getting upset are high this week.
