NFL Week 4 Fantasy POV: Overrated and underrated at each position
Surefire Starters at Tight End
- Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, regained the top spot among tight ends in fantasy football with a solid week 3 performance. He was targeted 7 times.and caught 6 passes for 87 yards in a critical win over Baltimore. Kelce has 55.7 fantasy points to Noah Fants‘ 54,5,
- Noah Fant, Denver Broncos tight end, WAS a “Surefire Starter” in Thursday night’s game against the Jets and was playing well until we was wheeled off the field due to an injury. The severity of the injury is unknown at this time, but Fant was having a fantastic year with 19 catches for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Riding the Bench
- Johnnu Smith, Tennessee Titans tight end, won’t be playing this weekend due to COVID-19. The game with Pittsburgh has been postponed.
- Eric Ebron, Pittsburgh Steelers tight end, won’t be playing this weekend due to COVID-19. The game with Tennessee has been postponed.
Underrated
- Jimmy Graham, Chicago Bears tight end, is reemerging as a valuable starter. In week 3 he was targeted 10 times, caught 6 passes for 60 yards and 2 touchdowns. He certainly has become a comfortable target for Bears quarterback Nick Foles.
Overrated
- Darren Fells, Houston Texans tight end, entered the season as the No. 1 TE on the Houston depth chart, but has been replaced by Jordan Akins. Fells has 4 catches to Akins 11 for the season.
Sleeper TE of the Week
- Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams tight end, isn’t a true “Sleeper.” He is more of a lower rung Tier 1 tight end. Higbee is definitely a starter on a fantasy football team. To illustrate how inconsistently he is used by the Rams, he has 3 touchdown catches.. All of them were against Philadelphia in week 2.. Higbee is due to catch more TD passes this weekend against the Giants.
