After the two threw hands following the New York Giants-Los Angeles Rams game, Jalen Ramsey wanted Round 2 with Golden Tate.

No one imagined that the Los Angeles Rams-New York Giants game would dominate the NFL’s Week 4 headlines. The contest was generally unexciting, but fireworks erupted after the game when Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey and Giants wide receiver Golden Tate got into a fight at midfield, forcing both teams to intervene and break it up. As it turns out, there was almost a Round 2 to the bout.

According to Jordan Raanan, Giants reporter for ESPN, Ramsey was waiting outside the Giants locker room for Tate to confront him again. Fortunately, there was no second round.

Tate and Ramsey have beef over a personal matter

The Ramsey-Tate feud started last year, as the Rams cornerback was in a long-term relationship with the receiver’s sister, Breanna. The couple have two children together, both daughters. But when Breanna was pregnant with their second child last summer, Ramsey dumped her and began dating a Las Vegas dancer. Of course, Tate was infuriated by this news, where he tweeted out that the corner had to “see [him]” in the future. Tate would later confirm the drama to the New York Post.

“I’m not happy at all with the disrespect that he’s shown towards my sister, and the things he’s done in the past, but I don’t really want to go too much into it,” Tate told the New York Post last October.

During Los Angeles’ 17-9 win over New York, Ramsey was primarily assigned to cover Tate. The receiver was targeted six times throughout the game, but hauled in four receptions for a measly 20 yards. Ramsey reacquainted himself with Tate by dishing out a violent tackle on him in the fourth quarter. That hit probably escalated the bad blood even further, resulting in both throwing hands at midfield. Tate was unavailable for the media after the game.

In case you all needed a reminder, Jalen Ramsey and Golden Tate despise each other. So much so, that there was almost a brawl outside the visitor’s locker room at SoFi Stadium!
