DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

Nick Calathes is the solid play and maybe the best cash option, but for GPP formats, we can definitely do better. Pierria Henry broke the slate in round 1 and his price wasn’t really adjusted enough. He’s one of my favorite plays and you can find him in the middle tier.

Skipping back to the top, this is not a good spot for Milan and DraftKings jumped the price on Malcolm Delaney more than I like for the matchup. Kostas Sloukas have the best matchup of the higher priced guards, but he had a pedestrian stat line in round 1. I really see no reason to pay up at guard unless you’re using Calathes in cash games.

The matchup between Peyton Siva and Nihad Dedovic is going to be a good one. Dedovic statistically has the advantage here and is a bit cheaper. I wouldn’t rule out Siva having a nice game as well. This is going to be fun to watch if you can find it somewhere on the internet.

The matchup is not a good one for Jordan Loyd, but I’m not sure it matters. He and Langston Hall both played well in round 1 and are priced low enough to take a shot on them despite the matchup. If you’re loading up on forwards, neither are a bad option.

I keep going back to the guards in the battle of Germany. Wade Baldwin is one of the best bargains on the slate considering how he played in round 1. Marcus Erikkson played well as Robin to Siva in round 1 too. Every lineup will have at least one guard from this game.

They still aren’t the best values on the slate. Barcelona transplant Kevin Pangos is. He made an immediate impact for St. Petersburg and led them to an unlikely win over Efes. That wont happen every game, but that’s a hell of a ceiling for a guy priced under $7,000. Backcourt mate K.C. Rivers is a solid option as well if you need to stay cheaper on guards.

Dairis Bertans and Vyachasev Zaytsev remain great bargains depending on the status of Shved. Khimki is thin anyway, so I think Bertans gets solid run no matter what. Zaytsev actually had the better game and is the greater bargain is Shved is out again.

Luca Vildoza’s broken beak is just fine, thank you. So is this price.
