Jon Gruden is 3-2, so of course, he’s taking shots at PFF in celebration.

Jon Gruden proves to PFF his Las Vegas Raiders can throw the football down the field.

Sunday was a phenomenal day for the Silver and Black. They won in Arrowhead Stadium for the first time in only god knows how long. The best part besides beating the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in their place is Derek Carr didn’t look like a lost puppy under center. He had no issues carving up the Chiefs secondary in this one.

Gruden took notice, but did PFF?

The Raiders are finding themselves in Gruden’s third year back with the team.

At 3-2, the Raiders are certainly good enough to be a playoff team in the AFC, especially with the expanded field. Though a sweep of the arch-rival Chiefs is in play, they are the reigning Super Bowl champions for a reason, so let’s not get too ahead of ourselves here. Are the Raiders good enough to win 10 games with this roster? It’s definitely trending in that direction entering Week 6.

Carr went out there and completed 22-of-31 passes for 347 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. He averaged a jaw-dropping 11.2 yards per passing attempt, as well as boasting a 126.7 quarterback rating. Against all odds, he outplayed his counterpart Patrick Mahomes for the first time ever. Las Vegas could run the ball at will on the Chiefs defense, as well as throw it.

If the Raiders continue to show this kind of offensive balance, they’ll be a tough team to beat.
