Todd Gurley is loving his life back in Georgia, as the Falcons running back opened things up on Sunday with a 34-yard touchdown.

Remember when Todd Gurley haters out there assumed his career was on the decline? Boy, are they looking foolish now. While Gurley battled knee injuries while with the Los Angeles Rams, he’s really gotten off to an incredible start this season with the Atlanta Falcons.

Things continued against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, with Gurley bursting up the field for a long 34-yard touchdown run. No one was going to stop Gurley from finding the end zone, as he really showcased his speed on the run.

Georgia Bulldogs and Falcons fans couldn’t be happier for Todd Gurley

With Gurley at the top of his game, this Falcons offense really is even more fun to watch. When the running back signed with Atlanta during the offseason, fans all over Georgia erupted in celebration. Gurley of course was a standout for the Georgia Bulldogs during his college days.

With fans now having the chance to cheer him on every Sunday while making brilliant plays for the Falcons, it sure is a sweet feeling. While Atlanta has gotten off to a rough 0-4 start, Gurley has been impressing whenever the ball has been in his hands.

We saw that once again against the Panthers in Week 5. Gurley really has been a feel-good story for this team in 2020. Look for him to keep running the pigskin in style the rest of the campaign.

Next. Falcons fans are done with Dan Quinn, ownership should be too. dark
