DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

At the top we have to decide between the consistency of Nick Calathes and Vasa Micic or the upside of Pierria Henry. Henry has a tough matchup and plays St. Petersburg, so if you don’t have the luxury of checking back around 3 eastern to see if the game is playing, you may have to leave him alone. Micic is the safe option with Larkin out.

Jordan Loyd was the Round 2 MVP and has another nice matchup today. He’s one of my favorite plays on the entire slate and make an entire fade of the upper tier seem plausible.

Krunoslav Simon has stepped up big with Larkin out. He doesn’t have the upside of Micic, but Simon has been the more consistent play. I like him a lot at a shade below elite pricing.

Marius Grigonis had a really nice game against Khimki on Saturday last week. This is a plus matchup against Belgrade and the price is right. Nihad Nedovic is worth a look in this tier as well with a couple of Athens guards out.

The whole Red Star team caught fire last week and has another plus matchup here. Langston Hall may have been the hottest of them all and he’s still very affordable. The only one in this tier that comes anywhere close to his upside is Luca Vildoza.

K.C. Rivers is one of the few guards unaffected by the COVID outbreak among St. Petersburg. If this game plays, Rivers is an absolute steal. Vitaly Fridzon could be a great value as well out of necessity.

Jayson Granger is still a force when healthy, as he appears to be now. However, budding NBA prospect Rokas Jokubaitis overshadows Granger in the value tier. He did a lot of damage in his 15 minutes in round 2. His playing time should only continue to improve.

Paul Lacombe and Antoine Diot are going to be popular plays with Norris Cole out. Diot is a little more proven, but Lacombe has looked better so far this year so long as he plays. Lacombe was showing on the injury report late last night. If he’s out too, Diot could be in for a huge game.
