College football DFS wide receiver picks October 16:

Top Tier:

None of us should be surprised by what Marquez Stevenson did to Tulane. BYU has solid corners, but they haven’t tried to cover a NFL-caliber receiver yet this year either. This could be another big game for Stevenson. He’s worth the money.

Middle Tier:

It’s the old Dax Milne vs. Gunner Romney conundrum. If you don’t know which one to use, you can likely use both on this slate. There is plenty of value to go around and no dominant running backs. If only using one though, my favorite has to be Milne. Houston’s defense looked really good last week, but it was more a product of Tulane’s muddling offense.

Rashee Rice is not quite the receiver that Roberson is, but with Roberson out, he is going to see probably double the targets. Rice is a huge value play on a slate that we don’t really need them. I also like Kylen Granson, but probably only as part of a SMU stack.

Bargain Shoppers:

Keith Corbin was solid against Tulane and he could be in for a big game at a low price if BYU tries to clamp down on Stevenson. There’s really no reason to go deeper at receiver. You’ll have a better chance at separating yourself at running back.
