Early College football DFS picks October 17: Moore, Moore, Moore

College football DFS quarterback picks October 17:
Top Tier:
In light of the postponement of the LSU-Florida game, I certainly can’t fault you for chasing Matt Corral. We don’t have a consensus top QB anymore with Trask off the slate. Just be aware that the Arkansas defense has played very well, even against Georgia.
Dillon Gabriel is a way to move off of Lawrence ownership. Memphis’s defense isn’t great, but the UCF offense was a comedy of errors, namely false starts, against Tulsa. There is risk here.
Brady White on the other side of this is a good choice too. He’s probably safer than Gabriel, but I really can’t argue with either of them if you want to spend up at QB. However, without Trask, I don’t see a guy that I’ll play more than ten times, at least from the top tier.
Middle Tier:
The Kansas defense is awful. If Bowling Green transfer Jarret Doege is ever going to have the game of his life, it’s going to be here.
Feleipe Franks had his best game as a Hog, tossing four touchdowns against Auburn. The Ole Miss defense has been in tatters this year. Some of it is the offense moving faster, but not all. Franks is an interesting option here.
Tyler Wilson is going to have a tougher go of it against the Vols, but his running ability keeps his floor up. That said, he did struggle against Mississippi State last weekend, so the risk is plentiful.
Bargain Shoppers:
So, the 2018 version of K.J. Costello that infiltrated the Mississippi State compound was benched after throwing three picks against Kentucky for a guy named after an airport. Or a cowboy. Will Rogers will likely start against A&M and is an interesting option for the price if he does.
I’m still not a believer in the Duke defense and if Devin Leary can throw for 336 and four touchdowns against Pitt, he certainly can against the Blue Devils. NC State may take this game over on the ground, but I have a feeling that Leary still has a good day for this low of a price.
If you need to go really cheap at quarterback, Jeff Sims is very tempting. Clemson’s defense is really good, but Sims hasn’t been held under 40 rushing yards yet. The ground yards alone make him tempting, but it’s a risk using any quarterback against Clemson, no matter how cheap they are.
