Potential Risers

Robert Tonyan

Tonyan’s hype has settled a bit after his bye week, but his momentum should continue. Yes, he’s performed in easy matchups with rival receivers injured, but how else was he supposed to break out? Tonyan has solidified himself as a major part of a high-powered Green Bay offense. His red zone presence gives him potential to be a weekly TE1 ROS, so if you want to take a chance on him, now’s the time to do it. Sure, it’s possible that he could be phased out by Davante Adams’ return, but I think Rodgers found the receiving option that the Packers refused to find for him in the draft.

Potential Fallers

Zach Ertz

Ertz has made a career out of being the only option on a team constantly riddled with injuries year after year. After last week, it seems like the end of his reign of dominating the Eagles’ targets by default. Dallas Goedert, Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson, and Jalen Reagor were all inactive and Ertz only managed one catch for six yards on his six targets. I wouldn’t be surprised if Dallas Goedert returned from injury and fully took over the starting tight end role, as trends pointed to before his injury. If you can sell Ertz on name recognition, do it.
