5. Chase Edmonds (ARI)

Game: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys (Monday, 10/19, 8:15 pm EST)

Low and behold, it is not simply the Kenyan Drake Show in the desert. The Cardinals are mixing in the talents of Chase Edmonds into the Air Raid offense. And, it’s working. Edmonds was a fantasy God for one game last week.

They will probably continue the mix-and-match. Why? It worked. Arizona is 3-2 and fighting for a playoff spot.

6. J.K. Dobbins (BAL)

Game: Baltimore Ravens at Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, 10/18, 1:00 pm EST)

Any time that Dobbins touches the ball, good things happen — often explosive ones. Indeed, the Ravens love their rushing committee with Lamar Jackson, Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, and Dobbins. However, in the here and now, Dobbins is the most deadly playmaker in terms of rushing the ball of this bunch.

Eventually, Baltimore will make Dobbins the primary back. We’re picking him to make a couple of big plays vs. the Eagles.

7. Devonta Freeman (NYG)

Game: Washington Football Team at New York Giants (Sunday, 10/18, 1:00 pm EST)

There was so much gridiron depression that sunk in when Saquon Barkley was hurt that we forgot Devonta Freeman is a damn good RB1 when given touches. He showed us why last week. The former Falcon dropped 17 PPR points in the Week 5 contest against Dallas.

Freeman will be “the guy” for a bad team for a few more months. Start him when you’re navigating other RB bye weeks.
