DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks October 22

DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:
A few missing players for CSKA has Mike James taking on the workload that he had in the 2018-19 season. He’s worth using until the team is back at full strength. I still think Jordan Loyd is the better play right now, even if James does have the higher ceiling.
Once again, we are loaded at guard. So much so that the ever-consistent Nando de Colo is third in price. This is a gift in cash games, but with guard as strong as it is, we should probably chase upside in GPP formats.
This is a great matchup for Pierria Henry, but he was absolutely awful and played just 11 minutes in the win over Khimki in round 4. I expect Henry to bounce back here, but nothing is a given since he usually doesn’t start.
CSKA has been chewed up by COVID and opposing guards. If you can’t afford Loyd, Langston Hall is a superb plan B and a cheaper way to get a piece of this action.
It was a slow start for Marcus Eriksson, but he had a nice round 4 and gets a very favorable matchup in round 5. The ceiling isn’t high, but for cash games, he’s a good pairing with Nando.
Marcus Foster has seen an increase in minutes and production with every game this year. This isn’t a great matchup with Fenerbahce, but for the price, he’s good enough to consider to see if he can keep this hot streak going.
The price on Luca Vildoza is high enough that he’s not really a value play anymore, but the production eases any concerns with using him. He’s probably still better left for cash games, but the ceiling is high enough in the middle tier that you can use him in GPP’s as a low-risk option as well.
Jayson Granger is still a steal for the price, but his ceiling is low with Eriksson playing the way he is.
Both Milan and St. Petersburg have been hit hard by injuries and COVID respectively. I don’t really like the matchup for Sergio Rodriguez and company, but this could be a really nice spot for guys like K.C. Rivers, Michael Roll, and Riccardo Moraschini. I expect to see Milan run like they usually do with two guards, but St. Petersburg ran almost exclusively with Rivers and four forwards. I wouldn’t use any other St. Petersburg guard besides Rivers.
