DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks October 22
The larger part of round 5 of the DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments is on Thursday this week. So far there have been no new COVID outbreaks, so we should have the full five games. Of course, keep an eye on this up until tipoff. It can change at any minute. Here’s the preliminary injury report.
Out: Malcolm Delaney (ankle), Vladimir Micov (elbow), Kevin Pangos (coronavirus), Patricio Garino (knee), Billy Baron (coronavirus), Kevin Punter (leg), Mateusz Ponitka (undisclosed), Austin Hollins (coronavirus), Arturas Gudaitis (coronavirus), Joan Sastre (knee), Janis Strelnieks (coronavirus), Vladislav Trushkin (coronavirus), Semen Antonov (coronavirus), Anton Pushkov (coronavirus), Andrei Lopatin (coronavirus).
Questionable: Johannes Thiemann (leg), Alec Peters (ankle), Ahmet Duverioglu (back), Melih Mahmutoglu (calf).
I had a couple of lineups break 200 on Friday, but it was a high scoring day. Still, I’m not going to complain about two lineups in the top 50. That’s enough to win me entry fees for this week!
Often early in the EuroLeague season we see about ten players playing half the game. The upside on everyone is capped except for the few elites out there.
For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value. Keep that in mind when mining for value picks.
