The Washington Football Team would be foolish to not go after Ryan Fitzpatrick

Of the three teams on this list, the Washington Football Team no question makes the most sense in terms of which squad would benefit most from adding Fitzpatrick. After using a first-round pick on Dwayne Haskins in the 2019 NFL Draft, things just haven’t worked out for the former Ohio State superstar.

Haskins is already riding the pine for the team, with Kyle Allen serving as the starter and Alex Smith also seeing some action. Allen has been less than impressive in his short time running things. Smith’s return to the NFL has been an incredible story, and seeing him take the field recently was something fans across the country loved seeing.

With that being said, a guy like Fitzpatrick would no question give Washington its best chance to win games. The quarterback situation for Ron Rivera is a bit of a mess right now, with his team currently sporting an abysmal 1-5 record.

Washington fans have seen terrible play from their signal-callers for years now. While Fitzpatrick may not be the one to lead them back to a Super Bowl, there’s no question he can put this team in a position to win some contests. And hey, the Redskins are still in the NFC East hunt, with the Cowboys sitting in first place at 2-4.
