Quarterback: Deshaun Watson $8,000

The quarterback position is one that can make or break the lineup. This is obvious. If you are here, you’ve been burned by a bad quarterback before. Deshaun Watson showed his high upside last week against the Tennessee Titans, throwing for three touchdowns while attempting to get his team back in the game. It may not have led to a win, but it led to a lot of happy Fanduel owners.

While he only has that one monster game, he doesn’t have a stinker on his game log. His worst point output was 15 against the Baltimore Ravens. Since then, he’s literally had more points each week, as he tries to throw the stink of Bill O’Brien off this team.

He’s starting to get some real chemistry with a brand new receiving core. Brandin Cooks looks like the guy he was supposed to be for three other franchises. Will Fuller V is finally able to be the deep threat he’s been in the past. Even Randall Cobb added a touchdown in the last game. (Poor Kenny Stills is the odd man out here.)

Watson is the sixth priciest quarterback this week. Picking Watson over Josh Allen or Russell Wilson saves players $700 to $800. That is crucial in a week like this. It’s hard to know what the Packers secondary brings to the table in this matchup, but Watson has proven to be matchup proof in the past.

Still, Rodgers is going to be scorched Earth after his terrible performance last weekend. Watson will have to keep up, which will lead to a shootout of epic proportions.

Other Options: Justin Herbert: $7,500, Russell Wilson $8,700
