Easton has seen time this year for the Saints at both guard positions, as he has been making the most of New Orleans cutting guard Larry Warford. However, New Orleans has made it pretty clear that Easton doesn’t fit into their long-term plans, as the selection of Michigan’s Cesar Ruiz in the first round means that they will clearly give the former Wolverine preferential treatment. Philly should pounce on him to bolster their line.

The Eagles are putting new offensive linemen out there with every passing game. While the likes of Jordan Mailata have impressed, Nate Herbig, Matt Pryor, and Sua Opeta have been absolutely bulldozed in consecutive weeks. Wentz can make plays out of structure, but asking him to run the offense with such a poor line is completely unreasonable.

The Saints are clearly in win-now mode, which means that draft picks have been few and far between over the last few years. However, given their dire cap situation, they might need to stockpile picks to rebuild this roster. In trading Easton, they’d get one of those extra picks while the Eagles get a new starting guard.
