Minshew’s issues aren’t about TD:INT ratio or completion rate. Instead, it’s the yards per attempt. Watch the Jaguars, and you see a capable quarterback who doesn’t stretch the field. At some juncture, Jacksonville is going to seek out more big-play ability.
2020 stats: 969 yards | 67.2 completion % | 2 TDs | 7 INTs | 7.4 YPA | 42.6 QBR

Newton was awful on Sunday against the 49ers in New England’s 33-6 loss. The former MVP threw three interceptions before being benched. The numbers above speak for themselves. The Patriots don’t have weapons, and Newton hasn’t looked like a quality starter.
2020 stats: 1,760 yards | 58.6 completion % | 10 TDs | 10 INTs | 6.3 YPA | 52.5 QBR

Wentz has played much better football over the last three weeks, even with Philadelphia only posting a 1-2 mark in that time. His start was so poor it’s unlikely his numbers look great at any point in 2020, but with the NFC East being wide open, Wentz’s improvement is a big development.
2020 stats: 1,598 yards | 69.7 completion % | 7 TDs | 6 INTs | 8.1 YPA | 64.1 QBR

Coming out of Indianapolis’ bye week, Rivers is challenged to stop making critical errors. The Colts have a top-tier defense but have been saddled with bad interceptions from Rivers. Of course, this hasn’t been a one-year problem for him, so good luck.
2020 stats: 1,392 yards | 63.1 completion % | 15 TDs | 7 INTs | 7.0 YPA | 76.7 QBR

Mayfield was awful early and then was damn near perfect, throwing five touchdowns in a thrilling. 37-34 win over Cincinnati. Without Odell Beckham going forward, Mayfield will be relied upon more to stick throws in obvious passing downs, something he’s struggled with this year. He’ll need to improve with the Browns are to make the playoffs.
2020 stats: 2,023 yards | 66.6 completion % | 9 TDs | 5 INTs | 6.9 YPA | 57.3 QBR

How can anybody not be impressed with Burrow? The Bengals may only be 1-5-1, but look at this passing chart. Great throws to all levels, all while going for 406 yards and three touchdowns. The kid is really, really special.
