Leading up to the action, NFL fans were hoping Christian McCaffrey would be able to make his return to the field to face the Falcons. However, it was announced on Thursday morning that the former Stanford standout won’t be ready to rock just yet.

That means the Carolina offense will once again rely on Teddy Bridgewater to get the ball moving early and often with his strong right arm.

Meanwhile for the Falcons, Matt Ryan and Julio Jones continue to put up exciting numbers, but their performances haven’t led to much overall success for the team, with the Falcons sporting a 1-6 record. Will they be able to get their second win of the season over the 3-4 Panthers?
