Scouting Report. player. 1. 46. Pick Analysis. AFC. South. Indianapolis Colts

This would be more of a luxury for the Colts rather than a need. Philip Rivers is playing too inconsistent to trust the team entering the midseason as the leaders of the AFC South. That said, with the seventh wild card spot available, Frank Riech’s roster is far from fizzling out of the postseason picture.

The Colts have been without Michael Pittman and Parris Campbell since Week 3, hurting the depth at the positon. Tate would explode in the slot alongside Zach Pascal and T.Y. Hilton. Pittman recently returned to practice, giving Rivers a four-man set to work with for the remainder of the year.

If the Giants are rebuilding, they need to implode. That means freeing up as much cap space they can and letting veterans land elsewhere. Tate would be a cap casualty and adds value to an offense that needs to understand Rivers’ is limited passing. The defense is a knock-out unit, but the offense needs a spark to keep up with the Titans. Could Tate be the spark they need?
