4 teams who could trade for Gardner Minshew if Jags don’t want him

Even with that dominance so far, things aren’t all rosy in Pittsburgh, as the imminent departure of the 38-year-old Roethlisberger in the near future could leave this team without a quarterback to lead them for most of the next decade. If they are able to pilfer Minshew before the deadline, Pittsburgh could get either an A+ backup quarterback or their potential 2021 starter.

Mason Rudolph might be a solid backup, but last year proved he isn’t franchise quarterback material.
