Worst Coach of the Year:

Adam Gase

Record: 0-8

Sorry, as a Jets fan, I had to get this one in there. Adam Gase has been terrible and I still question why he has a job with this organization. He has turned a team that was headed in a positive direction, into the laughing stock of the league. He has turned the Jets into the New York Knicks, yikes. I struggle to think of anything positive that he has done but there isn’t any.

Sam Darnold has looked terrible, and I can’t blame him that much. He looks lost out there and they have given him no weapons to throw to. Frank Gore is our lead running back which isn’t exactly what you want to see for a team that is trying to find some building blocks for the future. Overall, if Adam Gase can deliver us Trevor Lawrence, I will be okay with it. I feel bad for Darnold and it’s not his fault. Trevor Lawrence looks like a talent you just can’t pass up, although the Jets would certainly screw it up. One day the Jets will be a competent franchise, sadly, today is not that day.

If Adam Gase returns as coach of the New York Jets next year, I will officially have to move on from the Jets as a fan. Any space on the Chiefs bandwagon? They are set up for the next decade.
