Seattle Seahawks . player. NFC. 4. 36. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. West

The Seahawks‘ inability to find a pass rusher now leaves questions in a competitive NFC West. While they added Carlos Dunlap, his limited production in Cincinnati over the past two seasons isn’t enough to calm the fan base down. And with the defense in place right now, Pete Carroll might be smart to let this season end on a high note, but with few regrets.

Watt’s production has diminished since his impressive 2018 campaign, but it’s better than Dunlap’s. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year has collected 28 total tackles, six tackles for losses, four sacks and a forced fumble over the past eight games. Still, his ability to make a quarterback sweat is uncanny any given Sunday.

Seattle has 19 sacks on the year. That’s a huge plus after where they were entering the deadline. However, adding Watt to the underachieving defense would grant the team a potential phenom that’s looking to break out in a new city.

If they can free up enough cap space for next season, this should be an easy pickup for the 12th Man. Russell Wilson is at his peak and the time to act is now. Who knows how many good years the future MVP has left?

Next. The Steelers shouldn't rush back Ben Roethlisberger. dark
