Scouting Report. . Toronto Raptors. 3. 81. Pick Analysis. Atlantic. player

The Raptors have as solid an infrastructure around their roster as there is in the league given Nick Nurse on the sideline and Masai Ujiri in the front office. However, this offseason could force them to part ways with a few key members from their 2018-19 title team, as Marc Gasol, Fred VanVleet, and Serge Ibaka are all going to test the free-agent waters. Even in the ultra-competitive Atlantic division, Toronto should have enough left in the tank to get to the postseason once again. One way Ujiri could help keep the Raptors relevant this offseason is by adding another quality shooter in Gallinari.

Ibaka has been mocked to the Los Angeles Lakers frequently, meaning that the Raptors will lose a tremendous interior defender and an improving outside shooter. While Gallinari will do little to replace Ibaka inside, he could set a new career-high in scoring given how he could join a Raptors team that is losing two key starters and impact scorers. Gallinari will get his wish and join a contender, while Toronto doesn’t break the bank to replace a starting big in what could be a true win-win scenario.
