6. Kansas Jayhawks

There may not be a team that is more disappointed the NCAA Tournament was canceled last March than Kansas. All indications were that the Jayhawks would have been the top overall seed in the dance and had a great shot to win it all.

The loss of Udoka Azubuike and Devon Dotson will hurt, but Bill Self has managed to reload the Jayhawks with plenty of talent. Returning starters like David McCormack, Marcus Garrett and Ochai Agbaji are expected to take on bigger roles, while five-star freshman Bryce Thompson could be a plug-and-play guy on the wing.

Another interesting player to watch here is junior-college transfer Tyon Grant-Foster, who was a scoring machine for Indian Hills Community College last season. Grant-Foster should contribute off the bench as a sixth man and could end up playing key minutes down the stretch of games.

Aside from its competitive Big 12 slate, the Jayhawks also have non-conference contests against Kentucky and Creighton on the docket. There will be plenty of must-see TV games involving Kansas to add to your calendar this season.
