DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks November 17
The larger part of round nine kicks off a two round week of DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments. We still have a few injury concerns and some COVID cases that could threaten games, so make sure you keep up on the news by following the EuroLeague’s official Twitter account. They are faster with updates than I am.
Out: Nando de Colo (calf), Bryant Dunston (eye), Patricio Garino (knee), Vanja Marinkovic (shoulder), Sam Van Rossom (knee), Johannes Voigtmann (illness), Janis Strelnieks (hip), Joan Sastre (undisclosed), Alexander Khomenko (illness).
Questionable: Shane Larkin (undisclosed), Nemanja Nedovic (undisclosed), Devin Booker (leg), Rodrigue Beaubois (face), Marius Grigonis (toe), Stefan Jovic (undisclosed), Joffrey Lauvergne (leg), Rokas Jokubaitis (coronavirus), Sergey Monia (back), Zach Auguste (undisclosed), Egor Vialtsev (Achilles), Tolga Gecim (undisclosed), Ivan Ukhov (undisclosed).
It was believed that Larkin would play last week, but Efes held him out. It is widely believed that he plays here, but we all know who that goes. If he does, Larkin will likely be in a limit considering he hasn’t played since October 30.
Jokubaitis has passed both recent COVID tests, so he is on track to play. However, expect him to be limited after missing nearly a month of action.
Often in the EuroLeague season we see about ten players playing half the game. The upside on everyone is capped except for the few elites out there.
For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value. Keep that in mind when mining for value picks.
