College football DFS quarterback picks November 18:

Top Tier:

It’s not much of a stretch to say that Preston Hutchinson is better than Mike Glass already. Toledo’s pass defense has been a sore spot and Hutchinson is plenty capable of torching them through the air. Add that to his rushing potential and Hutchinson has the highest ceiling on this slate.

Middle Tier:

I like Kaleb Eleby, but this Central Michigan defense has been really good. This is where I tell you that statistics can be misleading. CMU has played Northern Illinois and Ohio. Neither are particularly good passing teams and none of their quarterbacks have an arm like Eleby. Eleby could have a nice game at lower ownership here.

Drew Plitt didn’t play all that well last week and he has a really tough matchup here against Northern Illinois. I like the Ball State receivers, but this could be a place to fade Plitt. Eli Peters has played well for Toledo and has good upside against an EMU team that has struggled in coverage.

Bargain Shoppers:

I know that the Western Michigan defense is good, but this looks like a bit of overcorrection on the price of Daniel Richardson. Richardson still had a good game against NIU. His ceiling is pretty low, but for this price, I’ll take the floor that a quarterback provides.

Avoid this Northern Illinois quarterback situation completely. Ross Bowers has been awful, but his backups have been even worse in mop up duty.
