DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks November 18
We only have three games on the DraftKings EuroLeague slate today with Barcelona and Olympiacos being suspended due to local COVID quarantine rules. This is still a solid three games, none of which seem threatened by COVID. Let’s jump in!
Out: Norris Cole (thigh), Peyton Siva (coronavirus), Luigi Datome (undisclosed), Jeffery Taylor (ankle), William Howard (pelvis), Yovel Zoosman (hamstring).
Questionable: Othello Hunter (head), Fabien Causeur (coronavirus), Louis Olinde (groin).
Hunter is expected to try and play both games this week but keep your eyes open. His availability may not be announced until just before tipoff. I recommend following the official EuroLeague Twitter account. They are usually pretty quick with updates.
Real Madrid is expecting Causeur to be active, but he likely wont play any more than he did before contracting COVID. There’s no upside here.
Alex Poythress getting in foul trouble hurt all of my lineups yesterday. Today should be a better day. At least I hope it will be.
Often in the EuroLeague season we see about ten players playing half the game. The upside on everyone is capped except for the few elites out there.
For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value. Keep that in mind when mining for value picks.
