College football DFS running back picks November 21:

Top Tier:

The silver lining for Kevin Harris is that Missouri has allowed nine rushing touchdowns in five games. He may not get a ton of yardage though. The workload will be there, but I think I prefer the upside of Rhamondre Stevenson. The Oklahoma offense has taken off since the return of Stevenson.

Zamir White is the safest piece of the Georgia offense. I would argue that Daniels and all of the receivers get a big boost this week, but that shouldn’t take much away from White. He doesn’t need a ton of work to put up big numbers. He only had seven carries against Florida and still hit triple digits.

Don’t worry Larry Rountree, the South Carolina run defense hasn’t been very good either. They have allowed 176.1 yards per game and 13 touchdowns in seven contests. I like Rountree because he gets a large share of the carries out of that backfield. It should pay off here.

Middle Tier:

This is a nice matchup for Tank Bigsby. Tank has at least 17 DraftKings points in every game since he took over as the starter in week 5. The ceiling isn’t all that high against Tennessee, but he might have the best floor of any back on this slate.

The days of getting LD Brown at an extreme discount are over. Oklahoma’s strength is run defense, so I’m not sure I want to pay for either Brown or Chuba here. It’s going to be Sanders and the receivers with big games.

No value back has the ceiling of Gary Brightwell. The vaunted Washington defense was gutted by Jefferson last week with absolutely no help from the passing game. Brightwell will have help. This could be a huge game for a low price.

Bargain Shoppers:

This is a good matchup for the Washington running backs, but it’s a nightmare scenario for DFS. Newton had the most carries. The other two scored but he didn’t. Pleasant had the most yards. At least they are all around the same price, but unless you run all three, this is a very frustrating situation.

DraftKings put Austin Stogner back at running back. Oklahoma will likely have to look to the tight end in a game like this, so, uh, thanks DK!

James Cook might be the best athlete on the entire Georgia team. We don’t know what his role is going to look like with Daniels under center, but the coaches want to get him the ball. Cook is an excellent GPP dart.
