College football DFS quarterback picks November 21:

Top Tier:

Malik Willis is $1,600 more than Spencer Rattler, but is he worth it? Both are the most important part in their respective offenses. Willis has a much better matchup and gets close to that hundred yard rushing bonus every game. Oh, and he has 11 touchdowns to zero interceptions. This is the spot to pay up for Willis. He leads all quarterbacks with 603 rushing yards on the season.

I don’t care how bad Tennessee’s defense has been, Bo Nix isn’t worth the price. I would much rather run JT Daniels in his first start for Georgia. He’s going to annihilate Mississippi State.

Arizona nearly sprung the upset against USC last week and Grant Gunnell was a big reason why. Sure, Washington was good in pass defense, but it had more to do with the ineptitude of Tristan Gebbia as anything their defense did. This could be a really nice game for Gunnell and he’s very affordably priced.

Middle Tier:

This is a solid price in a solid matchup for Bailey Hockman, but that’s all it will amount to: solid. The ceiling is low since Liberty is allowing less than 200 passing yards per game and has picked off eight passes in eight games. I think we can do better.

It has been easy to forget how bad Oklahoma’s defense was early on. They have improved, but not as much as the stats suggest. A string of easy matchups has skewed the stats. Spencer Sanders has a massive ceiling in this game. His stats have been all over the place this year, but he racked up 33 DraftKings points against Texas. That’s the kind of line that could happen here.

Most of Michigan’s failures under Harbaugh can be traced to his quarterbacks. That’s not always the case this year. Sure, Joe Milton has made mistakes, but he’s done more good than bad. All four of his interceptions have come in the last two games where Michigan was playing from behind the whole time. That shouldn’t be the case against Rutgers and Milton can just go back to making plays and not forcing anything. He’s a strong value play here.

Bargain Shoppers:

Connor Bazelak is way too cheap. South Carolina is allowing 288.3 passing yards per game and has given up 18 passing touchdowns in seven games. Now the bad news with Bazelak: All four of his passing touchdowns came against LSU. The ceiling is high, but the floor is terrifying.

Michigan’s secondary didn’t magically get better overnight. Much of last week’s loss can be tied back to Noah Vedral for Rutgers, but redemption should come here. Just keep in mind that the ceiling is still low compared to the other quarterbacks.
