Late college football DFS picks November 28: Dawg days

College football DFS running back picks November 28:
Top Tier:
Demetric Felton is good enough to make us forgot about Stevenson on this slate. Felton is in for a monster against Arizona no matter who’s under center. I do think the upside is higher if DTR is out though. Griffin wont steal Felton’s carries like DTR will.
Duke’s run defense leaves a lot to be desired. They have allowed 178 yards per game and 18 rushing touchdowns in only eight games. This puts Jeff Sims in play, but I really like Jahmyr Gibbs here. Gibbs topped double digits against both Notre Dame and Clemson, so I’m not worried about his floor.
Middle Tier:
Isaiah Spiller isn’t a true bell cow since he doesn’t carry the ball 30 times a game, but he has the potential for a big game against LSU even with only 15-20 touches. Pass defense has been more of an issue for LSU, but Spiller has added pass catching to his repertoire this year as well. There’s a lot of potential here. There is for Ainias Smith as well.
It took Duke almost three months, but they finally have their running back in Mataeo Durant. Durant has topped the century mark in each of the last two games and scored thrice. He’ll carry a heavy load again, especially if Duke turns to Holmberg at quarterback.
Mississippi State shut down Zamir White, but don’t count on the Cocks duplicating that feat. South Carolina is allowing 166.4 rushing yards per game and has given up 14 touchdowns in eight games. White looks really nice for the price here.
Bargain Shoppers:
Kansas State’s quarterback issues make it really difficult to rely on Deuce Vaughn, but there is still upside against Baylor. The Bears have allowed 13 rushing touchdowns in just six games. Vaughn should finally get back on track here and we get him at a nice discount.
At least one TCU back will have a strong game. Hell, maybe even two will. This is Kansas we’re talking about. The issue is that the floor for any of the three is two points. That’s terrifying, even in GPP formats.
The Baylor backfield is a mess right now, but Qualan Jones is gaining the trust of the coaching staff. Ebner and Lovett will still poach carries, but Jones has been more effective than Lovett and more consistent than Ebner. He’s a risk in this offense, but at just $3,500, he might be worth it.
