3. Wayne Gallman (NYG)

Game: New York Giants at Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday, 11/29, 1:00 pm EST)

Gallman is not a fantasy animal. We need to get that announcement out of the way. Yet with Saquon Barkley out until 2021, Gallman receives most of the Giants touches. He doesn’t run up the boxscore with yards from scrimmage, but he does seek the end zone. For fantasy, that’s ideal.

Gallman has scored touchdowns in four straight games. We’re riding the momentum wave. Cincinnati gives up about 18 PPR points per game to running backs. That is ninth-worst in the NFL. Gallman will not emulate Barkley, but we theorize that he will again hit paydirt.

4. Giovanni Bernard (CIN)

Game: New York Giants at Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday, 11/29, 1:00 pm EST)

Just like Barkley is hampered and missing time, Joe Mixon has been absent for most of the last month. And, just as Gallman is no Barkley — Bernard is no Mixon. However, Bernard is a serviceable RB2 or FLEX this week. Why? Because the Giants, like the Bengals, allow nearly 18 PPR points weekly to halfbacks. In this metric, they’re 10th-worst in the league. Ergo, tailbacks should tabulate points in this Giants-Bengals tryst. Start Bernard as a Mixon handcuff or FLEX option.
