DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks December 1
By Mike Marteny
DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:
Luke Sikma is the highest-priced player on the slate, but he has not played well in tough matchups. This is a tough one. His price is jacked up because of what he did to a weak Khimki front in round 11. Moustapha Fall isn’t any more consistent, but at least he has a good matchup.
I’m as surprised as anyone that Shavon Shields continues to put up good numbers with the Milan backcourt healthy. For that reason, I consider Shields risky, but it doesn’t look like his volume is decreasing at all.
Both Ioannis Papapetrou and Georgios Papagiannis are playing well right now and they have a tasty matchup with Villeurbanne. The Berlin front court has been very good lately, but this is the time to pivot just based on matchup alone. Both are worth running today.
Honestly, I see Ben Lammers as a safer option than Sikma in this matchup. Price has something to do with it, but the floor is almost the same and Lammers is almost $3,000 less.
I can’t believe that David Lighty is only $300 more than Guerschon Yabusele. Don’t pay for the name. Lighty has a much higher ceiling and the floor isn’t that much different.
The upside is there for Vladimir Micov, but at this point you’re only paying for past success. Kyle Hines has been much better than him lately and is cheaper. Chasing upside can only get you so far. Micov has only topped 20 DraftKings points once in four games this year.
