NFL quarterback rankings, Week 13: Patrick Mahomes goes God mode
2020 stats: 2,876 yards | 63.2 completion % | 18 TDs | 8 INTs | 7.5 YPA | 61.5 QBR
Last Week: 17
This has to be it for Stafford in Detroit. He’s still a decent quarterback but the interceptions are flowing, the losses are as well, and there’s little reason to move forward with someone who is both declining and aging.
2020 stats: 2,819 yards | 70.2 completion % | 14 TDs | 8 INTs | 7.7 YPA | 71.1 QBR
Last Week: NA
Bridgewater is quietly having a very nice season in Carolina. Is he elite? No. But with Robby Anderson and D.J. Moore flanking him, Bridgewater is taking more deep shots (although not Sunday against Minnesota), staying accurate and largely avoiding bad turnovers.
2020 stats: 2,768 yards | 68.1 completion % | 23 TDs | 11 INTs | 8.6 YPA | 67.8 QBR
Last Week: 16
Cousins ranking right in the middle is peak Cousins. He’s a good quarterback who can vacillate between being excellent and awful depending on the week. Against Carolina, the former Michigan State star was terrific, going 34-of-45 for 307 yards and three touchdowns. He was also 13-of-19 with two touchdowns on passes of 10+ air yards.
2020 stats: 1,948 yards | 63.4 completion % | 15 TDs | 6 INTs | 7.1 YPA | 62.2 QBR
Last Week: 15
Nothing new to say, since the Ravens still haven’t played the Steelers. And for Jackson, he won’t be playing since he tested positive for COVID last week. When he returns, it’s the same story. Get better outside the numbers.
2020 stats: 3,021 yards | 67.2 completion % | 16 TDs | 10 INTs | 7.5 YPA | 57.5 QBR
Last Week: 10
Goff drops four spots, and he could have fell even further. Normally, you don’t see such movement on this point in the campaign, but two interceptions — including a game-altering pick-six — forces the move. Goff is built to win on play-action and with quick throws. When those aren’t flowing, he’s in major trouble. Against San Francisco, he completed one pass of 10+ air yards.
