College football DFS running back picks December 4:

Top Tier:

Boise hasn’t really missed George Holani due to the great play of Andrew Van Buren. His topped triple digits for the first time last week against Hawaii, but Van Buren just has a nose for the end zone. He has six rushing touchdowns in four starts.

Middle Tier:

This is not a good matchup for Elijah Mitchell or Trey Ragas, but the Mountaineers have allowed ten rushing touchdowns in nine games. There’s a good chance that one of them hits paydirt, but which one? This situation is a headache even in good matchups. I guess Ragas has the higher ceiling, but both have been splitting carries religiously all season.

Camerun Peoples was the only Appalachian State player that had any kind of success against CCU. He was less involved against Troy, but they were saving him for this game. Peoples is my favorite back on the slate because Appalachian State has shown a tendency to ride him in tough games. This fits the bill.

Bargain Shoppers:

Boise has allowed a staggering 203.8 rushing yards per game and 13 touchdowns on the ground in just five games. This is a sneaky great spot for Charles Williams that could spread towards Max Gilliam as well. I love Williams in GPP formats.

This is not a good slate for really cheap backs. The only one under Williams that I would even consider is Marcus Williams. He missed the game against CCU and only had five carries last week, so we really don’t know how healthy he is. This is probably the spot to stay away from the cheapies.
