DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

For a tournament of cobbled together rescheduled games, this has some potential. Shane Larkin is expensive and worth it. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in every game this season. No one else on this slate can boast that.

For as good as Larkin has been, Kevin Pangos still has a higher ceiling. He has been putting up big numbers for Zenit all season long. Norris Cole is kind of a cross between Larkin and Pangos. His ceiling is as high as both, but he doesn’t have a floor as low as Pangos or as high as Larkin. This is a place where you can likely get away with a Larkin fade if both Cole and Pangos get closer to the ceiling than the floor.

Nick Calathes has shaken off the slow start and DraftKings has taken away the bargain of using him. Calathes is one of the more well-rounded players in the EuroLeague and that floor is worth paying for in cash games. I’m just not sure he has enough upside at this price for use in GPP formats.

Klemen Prepelic is good enough in bad matchups to use anywhere, but with all of the other good options up top, I don’t see Prepelic doing enough for his price.

I don’t know that I trust the minutes for Vasilije Micic. The Efes backcourt is a bit of a mess aside from Larkin. Simon is taking minutes from Beaubois. Micic is ceding minutes to both. That will change at some point, but I’m not sure it’s here.

Shaq McKissic has been the only consistent player for a struggling Olympiacos team. This is not a good matchup with a strong Barcelona backcourt, but McKissic is priced reasonably enough to take a shot on him in GPP formats. Same thing with Sam Van Rossom. I hate the matchup, but Van Rossom is one of those guys that performs even in bad matchups.

Cory Higgins has a nice ceiling for the price and a superb matchup with Olympiacos. He’s a nice GPP target on this slate.

The return of Aaron Harrison might stop me from using anyone in this backcourt. I like Vassilis Spanoulis, but Olympiacos is taking it easy with him so far this season. McKissic and Sloukas might lose some minutes with the return of Harrison, but I have a feeling it’s going to be worse for Spanoulis.
