Aaron Rodgers’ quote about the NFL Playoffs will pump up Packers fans

If Aaron Rodgers speaks this into existence, the Green Bay Packers are going to ruin a playoff picture for someone. 

Just how talented are the Green Bay Packers? Well, if they close out the season undefeated, they’ll post the same 13-3 record that they did last season as the NFC’s No. 2 seed.

The difference this time is they’ll be in the driver’s seat for the playoff picture, forcing teams to enter the frozen tundra on their way down to Tampa Bay. All that is in large part due to Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers has been the most consistent quarterback in the league for the 2020 season. Last week, the 37-year-old threw for 290 yards and three scores in an NFC North-clinching victory the Detroit Lions.

Now, they remain ahead of the New Orleans Saints for the top seed despite posting the same record. That’s not enough for Rodgers, though.

He wants more. And his comments certainly say he can prove it.

During his weekly edition on the Pat McAfee Show, McAfee stated how the 2020 season was coming to an end — contrary to what Mr. Rodgers and Green Bay believe.

In fact, they’re only just beginning.

Green Bay is about to set the NFC postseason on fire

Entering the year, fans worried Green Bay would be one-dimensional on offense after a questionable draft. The Packers passed on multiple receivers and instead looked to draft Rodgers’ replacement in Jordan Love.

Instead of being a burden, it’s only been fire fueling Rodgers. Meanwhile, Devante Adams has sent his resume to the committee for pending status as the NFL’s top receiver.

Adams finished Sunday with his sixth 100-plus yard game of the year, tallying seven catches for 115 yards and league-leading 14th touchdown of the season. Meanwhile, Green Bay’s offense has only grown over the past 14 weeks, leading the NFL with 31.5 points per game.

It helps when Marquez Valdes-Scantling can have standout games and Robert Tonyan is a breakout star during the 2020 pandemic picture.

Playing in Green Bay anytime after October is challenging due to the blistering winds and frigid snow. The Packers have yet to stall but have only grown in the last two games at Lambeau Field, scoring 41 and 30 against Chicago and Philadelphia, respectively.

The defense will have to play better under Mike Pettine while Mason Crosby needs to be on point. As proven against by rival Minnesota, kicking could be the difference between staying the course or staying alive.

For now, Green Bay’s offense under Rodgers’ direction has been the constant of 2020. So yes, Packers fans, your season has only just begun.
