Miles Sanders – Philadelphia Eagles

Sanders produced one of the most surprising performances of Week 14 as he gashed the New Orleans Saints defense during the Eagles’ stunning victory over one of the favorites in the NFC.

He racked up 115 yards on just 14 carries, a hugely impressive average of 8.2 yards per carry, and two touchdowns to propel the Eagles to a victory that kept their faint hopes of winning the NFC East alive. Sanders also caught four of his five targets for 21 yards, finishing the game with 29.6 points in PPR leagues.

In Week 15, the Eagles face another typically stern run defense in that of the Arizona Cardinals. However, with the change from Carson Wentz to Jalen Hurts adding a new dimension to the Philadelphia offense, Sanders should find plenty of freedom to exploit holes in the Arizona defense.

Indeed, Hurts had 108 yards on 18 carries in his first start against the Saints, and the addition of another running threat will present a headache for a Cardinals team that knows better than most the value of a quarterback who can excel through the air and on the ground.

The switch from Wentz to Hurts has provided a layer of excitement to the final few weeks of the season for the Eagles, and, for fantasy managers with Sanders on their roster, it could prove a pivotal one in the battle for the championship.
