NFL quarterback rankings, Week 15: Aaron Rodgers takes MVP lead?
2020 stats: 2,172 yards | 66.1 completion % | 5 TDs | 10 INTs | 7.2 YPA | 46.7 QBR

We’ve seen enough. I’m guessing the Patriots have as well. Newton has nothing to work with, but he certainly isn’t elevating anybody, either. On Thursday, his QBR was 2.9 before being benched for Jarrett Stidham. He’s going to have a tough time earning a starting job in 2021.
2020 stats: 1,336 yards | 63.8 completion % | 13 TDs | 5 INTs | 6.7 YPA | 52.3 QBR

Trubisky truthers are out in full force. For a second straight week, the fourth-year man played well, this time leading Chicago to a win. Trubisky threw for 267 yards and three scores. So should we believe in him? No, history, and his Week 14 passing chart, tell us to know better.
2020 stats: 1,420 yards | 66.4 completion % | 4 TDs | 6 INTs | 6.5 YPA | 35.4 QBR

First off, hopefully Smith recovers from his leg injury and can start against the Seahawks on Sunday. However, we must point out Smith hasn’t played all that well in his heroic return. Smith has never been a guy to throw deep, but this season — perhaps due to rust — he’s been turning the ball over as well.
2020 stats: 1,340 yards | 65.5 completion % | 9 TDs | 6 INTs | 6.0 YPA | 52.7 QBR

Dalton is playing well enough to give Dallas a chance most days. Against his former team, the Cincinnati Bengals, Dalton was solid. The Cowboys are now 4-9 and somehow still in the playoff picture, because, well, the NFC East says hello.
2020 stats: 3,102 yards | 70.7 completion % | 14 TDs | 8 INTs | 7.6 YPA | 68.3 QBR

Bridgewater went 30-of-40 for 283 yards on Sunday in a loss to the Broncos. Overall, he’s done an admirable job piloting a Panthers team largely without Christian McCaffrey this season. It’ll be interesting to see if Carolina gives him another year as the starter, or if it drafts a quarterback early.
2020 stats: 1,214 yards | 62.0 completion % | 9 TDs | 1 INTs | 6.6 YPA | 57.1 QBR

Tagovailoa did a terrific job against the Chiefs, even in defeat. Yes, he threw his first interception, but the rookie was under constant pressure, was missing DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki for long stretches and didn’t have a running back to speak of. Still, he managed his first 300-yard passing game and seven completions of 10+ air yards. Well done, kid.
