College football DFS picks December 18: We go to Jaret

Our last Friday of the college football DFS season is a rather large four game slate. DraftKings did something that I never thought they would do. When the Battle for the Oaken Bucket got the axe, they moved back the start time and added the previously excluded Nebraska-Rutgers game that was moved to the original start time of Indiana-Purdue to allow a little more time after the Nor’easter slams the region.

From there, we have UAB heading into the West Virginia foothills to take on Marshall at 7pm Eastern. Half hour later, Buffalo and Ball State head to Detroit for the MAC Championship. The nightcap is Oregon and USC in the Pac 12 title game after Washington got COVIDed out of it. We still have some nice spots here.

Unfortunately, we lose great value plays of Stevie Scott and Whop Philyor. They were in all of my first builds.

I ended up with an average Saturday on the last large slate. I had Alabama stacks but mostly none of the right pieces and not enough LSU to really make a dent in the night tournaments.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
