MADRID, SPAIN – JANUARY 24: Shane Larkin of Anadolu Efes warms up prior to the 2019/2020 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 21 match between Real Madrid and Anadolu Efes Istanbul at Wizink Center on January 24, 2020 in Madrid, Spain. (Photo by Sonia Canada/Getty Images) /

DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

Shane Larkin torpedoed lineups as Efes got blown out by CSKA on Tuesday. That shouldn’t be the case here. Larkin went nuts on Milan the last time he played them in the winter, winning player of the week honors. Expect him to get back on track here.

Nando de Colo still isn’t fully back up to speed from his thigh injury, but he did put up 21.5 DraftKings points in just 19 minutes against Milan on Tuesday. He is a strong play against a Zalgiris team that isn’t much better against guards than Milan. I still don’t see Nando topping 25 minutes, but if he produces like that in 20, it doesn’t much matter.

Peyton Siva might be the best guard out there. He definitely has the better matchup. Siva has at least 20 DraftKings points in every round over the last month.

It could have been an even better round 14 for Marius Grigonis had the game been competitive. Fenerbahce isn’t going to get blown out, so a well-rested Grigonis is a nice piece to add to your lineups. He has scored in double figures in all but one round since November 1st.

The return of Sergio Rodriguez at less than normal minutes has made the entire Milan backcourt unusable at their prices. Nihad Nedovic is a much better option and is cheaper than the top two Milan guards.

The ceiling isn’t that high on Jayson Granger, but at least he is back to producing at a consistent level. He’s a strong middle tier piece against Athens today.

If Shelvin Mack is unable to go, Howard Sant-Roos is the most likely to soak up the extra minutes. Sant-Roos doesn’t have near the upside of Mack, but he’ll be a strong value play. So is Rokas Jokubaitis, and he has the upside that Sant-Roos doesn’t.

Maodo Lo put up one of his best lines of the season with Eriksson out last round. Expect another strong showing for Lo in Round 15.

If you like narratives, Leo Westermann played for Zalgiris for a few seasons in two separate stints earlier in his career. He makes his first return with Fenerbahce today and is really, really cheap.
