39. Swimming through a pandemic

The Wellmark YMCA in Des Moines, Iowa has huge, beautiful windows to allow light through to the pool in the morning. Unfortunately, the TYR Pro Swim Series competition was scheduled for the evening after the sun had set. I took a risk and showed up several hours before the competition and began to test my luck to see if any of the athletes might be training in the beautiful afternoon light. Lucky for me, Kristel Kobrich was early for the meet as well, and I was able to make a few frames of her before the sun dipped below the horizon.
