Start:

Melvin Gordon, DEN, vs. LV

Phillip Lindsay was placed on IR last week, ending his season. That leaves it wide open for Melvin Gordon to have one final excellent game to end his first season with the Denver Broncos. It helps that he is playing the Las Vegas Raiders, who were recently gashed by Myles Gaskin. Start’em up.

J.K. Dobbins, BAL, @ CIN

Dobbins has supplanted himself as the No. 1 running back for the Baltimore Ravens and that means big things moving forward. The Cincinnati Bengals are pretty bad at stopping the run, so Dobbins should thrive in a must-win game for the Ravens.

Latavius Murray, NO, @ CAR

The New Orleans Saints have an outside shot at clinching the No. 1 seed in the NFC but will need to win then get some help. Expect them to use the run much like they did last week, but not count on only Alvin Kamara this time around. Murray should be a great runner for folks in Week 17.

Sit:

Aaron Jones, GB, @ CHI

Something tells us that Aaron Jones probably won’t play the entire game. A.J. Dillon ate in Week 16 and should get some run against Chicago, especially if Green Bay feels the need to rest Jones up as much as possible after the injury scare.

David Johnson, HOU, @ TEN

David Johnson had a game that was a flashback to who he was as a member of the Arizona Cardinals this week. And that could be decent for him this week except for the fact that there’s a chance Deshaun Watson does not play, making Johnson the focus for the defense next week.

Samaje Perine, CIN, vs. BAL

Samaje Perine had himself a week in Week 16. Two touchdowns are always impressive but adding the yards to it is great as well. Too bad Baltimore is playing for playoffs and the Bengals are not. Leave him on the bench and the wire.
