Quarterback: Kirk Cousins $7,700

Now, this isn’t to get on the wrong foot with a lot of the new players, but Kirk Cousins is a great play this week for the price. He’s on the Minnesota Vikings, a team that’s only looking to pad the stats going into the offseason. The Vikings are playing the Detroit Lions, the same team that will be without its coaches for most of the week due to contract tracing. This same Lions team allowed 348 yards and four touchdowns to Tom Brady in one half. Cousins is primes for a huge output.

Even if the Lions are able to get most of their coaches back, that won’t make their secondary any good. They are devastated by injuries on the unit, and the replacements just aren’t good. The Bucs were throwing at will against them, and that’s because it was just too easy.

The Vikings have a similar situation. They have multiple weapons on the offense that could crush the Lions. Beyond just Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson, Cook has 44 receptions out of the backfield. That’s on top of the threat he provides in the backfield.

The Vikings are primed to put 40 on the Lions as they putter to the finish line. Cousins will be primed to have one of his best games of the seasons on Sunday.

Other Options: Deshaun Watson $8,700, Drew Brees $7,400
