Running Back: Jonathan Taylor $8,400

It’s no secret that Jonathan Taylor has been one of the best players for fantasy over the past month. He’s had at least 17 FanDuel points every game over the last four weeks. Before this stretch, his whole season was below average. Now, he’s been one of the most reliable backs in football.

This week, the Indianapolis Colts take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags have nothing to play for, while the Colts are desperately holding on to their playoff lives. They are on the outside looking in, so they can’t even take a chance at a comeback attempt by Jacksonville. They need to crush the team that’s already locked in for the number-one overall pick.

Taylor should get plenty of carries, which hasn’t been the situation for a while. The Colts gave him between 13 and 20 carries during his current stretch. He’s been making the most of his carries. Now, he faces a team that can’t stop anyone on offense. They’ve allowed at least 23 points to opposing running backs for five-straight weeks. Taylor should be able to go off on this defense.

Taylor has five touchdowns in the past three weeks. His touchdown streak is key here. You’re paying the fifth-highest price on the board. Only the Alvin Kamaras and Christian McCaffreys of the world are more expensive. Still, based on opponent, Taylor is the right price to pay.
